Encounter with C/2020 F3 (NEOWISE)

A bright comet, visible at mag2 does occur too often. After a first attempt earlier this week, that totally failed due to clouds, I tried again on 10th Jul 2020. Alarm clock set to 4:00, camera had been setup already. Checking the skymaps, it should be around the stars Psi AUR, to the lower left of Capella (Alpha AUR). Cloudy, but luckily only scattered sky in that area. I saw Capella, but the sky was already too bright to find other stars for proper locating. So over the thumb! I set the Camera to ISO400, 2 sec, at 250mm focal length and gave it a go in the assumed direction. Couple of shots. The sky became brighter already. On one of the photos, I noted a faint star with trail, when I was already about to give up.

First image with the comet

I did about 50 shots on the comet then, stacked them together, hoping that the combination of these pictures increases the visibility of the comet and flattens the clouds a bit. I tried various stacking methods for this. Here the results.
